  I originally started diving in Scotland (in 1975), but then stopped after I moved to Switzerland. I started again about 20 years ago and can often combine diving with work trips so have dived many places around the world – many islands in the Caribbean plus Vietnam, Thailand, Guam, Palau, Australia. Also nearer to home in Cape Verde, Gran Canaria, Madeira, Egypt and several locations in the Mediterranean.
  One of my best dives was in the cenotes in Mexico: these are caves filled with freshwater.
