  Ah it’s not a real dead body!! It’s a fiberglass copy of Tollund Man, a real bod body that was found in Denmark in great conditions although he died over 2000 years ago. The body still had clothing, fingernails, hair and stomach contents preserved thanks to the lack of oxygen in the peat bog where it was found. The cast is part of an outreach project I developed with my colleagues about applying analytical chemistry techniques to understand archaeological questions.
