  Yes, you can! Although I wouldn’t recommend it. Lots of Antarctica is covered in penguins and their poop is VERY smelly, so the ice probably has lots of bacteria that would make you sick. Some of the ‘clean’ ice on the mainland bit of Antarctica (the main ice sheet) is probably fine to eat! A lot of it is very compact though, so it would be difficult to dig up.
