I really love ramen! I make a really delicious ramen with lots of veggies and tofu. I also really love a good old jacket potato as comfort food!

I originally come from Scotland – so I really like haggis. I have, however, lived in Switzerland for 40 years and so, in the winter, like to have cheese fondue.

I used to love pizza – however since I am now not allowed to east (gluten intolerance) I am still trying to find something as tasty

Hmmmm, this is really tough. I love Asian food like Pho and Ramen, and I love fish so good sushi is obviously near the top of the list. Dessert is easier because I love ice cream! I have recently discovered a shop call Swoon and they do amazing gelato!

Octavia is making me crave a jacket potato. Definitely a comfort food.

I also love Indian food and enjoy experimenting with spices.
Choosing one meal is really difficult..

I’m torn between a lasagne and Chinese fakeaway.

One of our daughters was diagnosed with Coaliac Disease 3 years ago and can’t eat gluten (which is found in Barley, Oats, Wheat or Rye) or anything that may contain gluten. This means we can’t usually eat takeaway because they can’t guarantee it is gluten free.

So we decided to try and do it ourselves. It took quite a few practice attempts to get it right but we’re now happy with the recipes and timings. We can’t use egg noodles so have to make our own, it takes about 3 hours in total from the initial dough to part cooking and then air drying. We also had to experiment with quite a few different batter mixtures and found that the best recipe was the simplest with just two ingredients.

Cooking is a lot like chemistry!
